Sammy, our friend, he couldn’t go out,
He lay round the house like a bit of a lout.
His mom and his dad were stressed as could be,
The end of this nightmare he wished he could see.

The problem, a virus, so mean we agree,
It makes people sick, so sick as can be.
All round the world, people take care,
To stay in their houses: it is quite a scare.

There’s lots we don’t know, about this new bug,
Like why it’s so bad and behaves like a thug.
But scientists are working and finding a cure,
It may take a while but they’ll get there for sure.
